Chapter 486: The Clash between Two Ninja!

(Sasuke covering his eyes with a hand. Naruto covering his mouth.)
Side text: Two friends finally meet on the battlefield!

(View from above; dust and smoke coming out from around the bridge.)
(Kakashi has shoved off the clone and is alone now, coughing. Sakura is staring ahead.)
Kakashi: (coughing) Damnit, he surprised me.
Sakura: NARUTO!
(Smoke clears. Naruto and Sasuke are still standing but both breathing heavily.)
Naruto: I have to give you a chance. Itachi wouldn't forgive me if I didn't.
Sasuke: !!
(Naruto leaps forward with a kage bunshin at Sasuke with another Rasengan. Sasuke

jumps up to dodge and tries to summon black fire. His eyes continue bleeding.)
Kakashi: Naruto! You don't understand! He killed the acting Hokage so we can't let him go now!
Naruto: (glances at Kakashi, but keeps after Sasuke) But you're Hokage now, right?
You can't get into a dangerous battle so soon after what happened to Tsunade-baa-chan.
Sasuke: (looks surprised)
Sakura: (looks up at Kakashi) Is that true, Kakashi-sensei?
Kakashi: ... (narrows his eyes) That's why I said this is my job! The two of you don't understand what happened back at that time, and it's my responsibility to--
(Sasuke brings up another Chidori as Naruto advances and they clash again. This time Naruto is in sage mode when the dust clears.)
Naruto: Sasuke...! I'll just keep going until I get you to see what I mean.
(Sasuke is sneering at Naruto. Ironically, his sight is getting even worse... He starts laughing despite this.)
Sasuke: Not even you have that much stamina, Naruto. (Thinking: Damn... my eyes are...) I will make you see that you can't win me over so easily.
(More clones from Naruto appear, and he starts forming a Rasenshuringan while others attack Sasuke head on. Sasuke falls back and tries to bring out Susano'o again. Some of the clones puff out of existence, but Susano'o is already having trouble staying materialized.)
Naruto: Eh...! I won't be able to get past that unless... (shuts his eyes, they open again and he's now in Sage Mode.)

MEANWHILE~~!
(The futon Naruto's clone is curled up in suddenly deflates with a puff.)
Yamato: !! (goes up to the blanket and throws it aside, seeing Naruto gone, and looks up at the hole) Damn! That Naruto tricked me!
(He jumps out and starts trying to track after Naruto, immediately running through the forest.)
Yamato: (Thinking: I can't let him interfere with Kakashi-senpai... Though if he's dispelled one of his clones now, it must mean that he's already there at the fight.) Just became hokage and his students are already disregarding his orders... Kakashi-senpai is going to be furious with me.

BACK AT THE FIGHT
(Naruto continues advancing with the Rasenshuriken.)
Naruto: You'd better be ready, Sasuke!
Sasuke: (concentrates more chakra on Susano'o. His right eye begins bleeding as well) I told you Naruto! You'll either have to kill me or lose here! (Susano'o shoots an arrow at Naruto. Energy and dust explodes.)
Sakura: (shields her eyes) Kyaaaaa!
Kakashi: (takes off in a run to flank Sasuke, thinking: Naruto, you can't just attack him with Susano'o out from the front like that. Those arrows are--" !! (looks up, thinking: Oh, I see your plan now.)
(Smoke clears, Naruto is missing.)
Sasuke: What?!
(Naruto bashes in from above on Susano'o with a thrown Rasenshuriken.)
Naruto: I'll help you bring back the Uchiha by showing everyone them where they ARE honorable!
Sasuke: Shit! (forms seals, trying to improve Susano'o's armor as much as possible)
Naruto: FUTON: RASENSHURIKEN!
(Susano'o begins to break, so Sasuke has to use more chakra and put in more concentration. His eyes continue bleeding and his sight blurs and darkens.)
Sasuke: I won't give up here! I told you, Naruto! You'll have to kill me if you want to defeat me!
Naruto: (sneering for the stress from using the sage chakra) It'll work! It'll work because--!
(Naruto is interrupted when a black cloud bursts from his hands, and crows scatter from him.)
Sasuke: !! That's...!
(The crows fly into Susano'o and cause it to break down completely. Sasuke screams and shields his bleeding eyes with his hands.)
Sasuke: My eyes! They're...! Ahh!!
(Kakashi sees the opening and runs through, forming handseals.)
Kakashi: (lightning on his hand) CHIDORI!
(Sasuke looks through his hands at Kakashi's blurry and darkened approach and senses the killing intent.)
Sasuke: (Thinking: I... can't die yet!) Che! (jumps back and begins to retreat, forming seals, then blows to form a fireball) Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu!
(Kakashi is forced to shield himself. The dust and fire is enough distraction for Sasuke to retreat from the battle fully. When it clears, they see that he is gone.)
Naruto: (grimaces and punches the ground) Damnit!
Kakashi: (Looking on over Naruto, thinking: Sasuke... That was fear for your life, wasn't it? So is what Naruto's planning... Is there a chance it may work...?)
(Sasuke has run a ways into the forest before he stops and leans against an arm against a tree. His eyesight is even worse, and he's almost completely blind.)
Sasuke: Chikusho... (thinks about the fear for his life he felt, and about Naruto's declaration about helping him bring back the Uchiha name) ... (squeezes his eyes shut and hits the tree he's leaning on) CHIKUSHO!!!

(Madara dressed like Dumbledore while perched on top of an unconscious Sasuke, a hand over his eyehole like he's looking for someone.)
Side text: Surprise! Madara really shouldn't have insisted to get rid of the ONE sensor type in their group, huh?
(Madara appears from a distance away and looks down at the bridge.)
Madara: Well, this is unexpected. Alas! Now where did Sasuke go...? More importantly, where the hell am I?
(Down at the battlefield...)
Naruto: Aww... Sasuke used Self Destruct before I could capture him. I hate it when they do that!
Kakashi: (sweatdrops) Sasuke is an S-Class criminal, not a Pokemon. Besides, he just ran away.

(Sasuke is stumbling around because he can hardly see his hands in front of his face, nevermind the many, many trees in the forest he's trying to escape in. Sasuke: Damnit, I'll never get anywhere at this rate! Just because it's hard to see... Fuck it! I can see well enough to not hit a tree! I'll just run the rest of the way to Konoha!
(He tries to run but just ends up face-first in bark.)
Sasuke: Goddamnit. (KO'ed!)
BACK TO THE BRIDGE!
(Sakura continues treating Karin, who has been telling everyone about how bad of a lay Sasuke is and generally every piece of personal information ex-girlfriends tell everyone when they get dumped in a really shitty way.)
Sakura: Yeah, that sounds about right.
Naruto: (looks sick) I did not need to know any of this.
(Kakashi sighs and looks over as he sees someone approaching.)
Kakashi: Yo, Yamato.
Yamato: Err... (rubs his head) Sorry, Kakashi-senpai. Naruto got away from me. I'm pretty sure he used... magic. Uh, yeah. The battle...?
Kakashi: Is won. Unfortunately, Sasuke still got away. But still, it was good that Naruto came when he did. Don't beat yourself up on it.
Yamato: ....
Kakashi: What?
Yamato: Why are you the least funny person in the spoof so far?

Sasuke: (tries to glare at the kid, but ends up glaring at a bush... He's blind, you see.) What's it to you?
Boy: I'm just wondering. My mom is a ninja! My dad is supposed to be a ninja, too, but I never met him.
Sasuke: You never met your dad?
Boy: Nope! But knowing him, he's probably the least funny person in this whole spoof!
